Our Birman cattery has existed since 1997.
During that time I've had two breaks from breeding. Breeding takes
time and energy and it is not wise to establish oneself as a breeder
if you are not prepared to spend a lot of time and a lot of money on
your hobby.
The best thing would be to be able to be at home every day, but
since I have a career as a teacher outside the home, our cattery is
our hobby and our cats are pets living with us in the house. But I
can not live without my Birmans. The birman temperament is amazing
and you will not find a better family pet. I am often asked if I
have a problem selling kittens and saying goodbye to our little ones.
The answer is no. I rarely have trouble saying goodbye. It's a great
experience to see how many people our kittens make happy.
It's nice to get feedback on how well and how happy our kitten buyers
are for their new family member.
